The creative strength of

After an initial period of experimenting, the unique sound of ISC developped more and more and was opened to a limited public through a first self-released cassette and first live performances (See: concert history LINK). For example in 1994 the double-cassette "Hell inside / Hell outside" (LIKN) was published, which had been recorded at the monastary in Höchst and meanwhile has advanced to a popular collector's item.
A new millennium was dawning and the band changed over to the freshly founded label Bloodline. The course continued with the pre-released single "Kiss Your Shadow" in January 2001, followed by the third album "Love Kills!", which placed ISC on the number-one-position in the Deutsche-Alternative-Charts (DAC) for the first time. It even became the most successful album in the years' review right behind "The Cure". Also the second released single "Zauberschloss" stood it's ground at the peak-position for many weeks.

After a three year absence, Bristol’s hottest underground export in heartwrenching electronic pop is back. MESH, the duo of Mark Hockings and Rich Silverthorn, return with „A Perfect Solution“, possibly the most mature, mutable and yet toughest album of their career. While no one doubts Mark Hocking’s status as an exceptional vocalist, a complete listen to this album also serves to highlight the band’s songwriting and arrangement skills. Once pegged as a purely retro synth act, MESH have mutated into a true live band, and the resulting versatility in the arrangements transforms what might have merely been 11 good songs into outstanding ones.

They mix chilled-out electrobeats with shimmering futurepop sequences. Trancelike sounds with atmospheric samples. Clear-cut melodies with warm and charismatic vocals. Subdued new wave with classical strings. Nor do they shy away from acoustic guitars and pop hooklines, creating a unique universe that pulls together all strands of electronic music and which remains masterfully emotional and above all, intelligent.
‘Coincidence’ is an unpredictable factor. To remain unpredictable was not only ever just an integral part of

The first demos were created by René, who had been working for years in making music as a private hobby. In 2001 he became the third davaNtage member. At the same time Gunnar and Mario had a lot of lyrics, that couldn't stand in a context to the davaNtage sound.
