SANTA HATES YOU launch the "Rocket Heart"!

The creative strength of Peter Spilles is inexhaustible. With the brilliant PROJECT PITCHFORK album ‘Dream, Tiresias!’ still ringing in our ears, he follows it up with the EP ‘Rocket Heart’ from his unconventional project SANTA HATES YOU.

Stomping beats, driving sequencers and apocalyptic sounds are skilfully mixed with dark, aggressive vocals. Peter Spilles und his Italian partner in crime Jinxy give us, in an unexpected and seductive way, a musical kick up the arse which lends the whole an unnaturally sexy character.

SANTA HATES YOU are loud, aggressive, dark, rebellious, threatening, danceable, moving, passionate and intelligent. An alluring yet wild playground of electronic music, upon which the protagonists let off steam with lascivious poses and innocent expressions in order to clobber the listener around the ears with the concentrated strength of their beats and sounds, which nearly take your breath away.

The EP is packaged in an elegant digipak and is strictly limited to 2,000 copies. In addition to a cover version of the AND ONE hit ‘Deutschmaschine’, it also contains remixes from STRAFTANZ, SOMAN und REAPER plus a further bonus track. A must-have for every PROJECT PITCHFORK fan. Indispensable for all fans of hard as nails electronic music!
If this particular Santa hates us, you’d gladly unwrap this present and it’s good that this is the case. It is an enrichment among the gifts that is worth discovering. Let yourselves be seduced! SANTA HATES YOU are utterly cunning, brutish and so disturbingly sexy that they deliver the perfect soundtrack for nights danced away in clubs!

IN STRICT CONFIDENCE will release new EP after three years of silence!

"Rome wasn’t build in a day" – since the last album of In Strict Confidence, „Exile Paradise“ in 2006, the band put the fans off for a long while.

Now, the waiting comes to an end – and before the official release of a new full-time record in 2010, In Strict Confidence presents an brand-new EP with three new tracks and remixes of the title-song „My Despair“

On "Feeling", new front-woman Nina de Lianin debuts with ISC, after years of brilliant work at the Serbic State-Ensemble. „My Despair“ sounds refreshingly new, unusual and gripping.
The alternative versions will put different notes in the clubs without wandering on worn-out paths.

The release is scheduled for Friday, November 20th. The bonus-video of the CD (including an iPhone-Format) will be available on the official MySpace-Site from November 1st.
Seven Audio-Tracks + Video for the price of a MCD!

Biography:

And the day came when it was not enough to just consume music anymore. In 1989/90 one decided to be creative themselves and to take first steps towards the creation of own music. At that time Jörg Schelte and Dennis Ostermann were accompanied by Stefan Vesper, who is today very successful in the field of experimental trance (www.stevemusic.de). Another member was Thomas Steiger, who, despite his seperation from the actual band further on in the future, stayed a constant companion - not in a creative way though, but e.g. in taking care of the fans. With regard to the music one seperated from the formar quartet "Seal of Secrecy", whose light dimmed therefore, and shrank to a creative duo.

After an initial period of experimenting, the unique sound of ISC developped more and more and was opened to a limited public through a first self-released cassette and first live performances (See: concert history LINK). For example in 1994 the double-cassette "Hell inside / Hell outside" (LIKN) was published, which had been recorded at the monastary in Höchst and meanwhile has advanced to a popular collector's item.

As a result the attention of first record companies was drawn to ISC, but it took more than a year from the fist offer until finally an appropriate partner was found: the label Zoth Ommog. In 1996 one could hold the first piece of silver "Cryogenix" (LINK) in the hands, from which songs like "Become An Angel", "Inside" and "Sudorific" quickly found their way into the hearts of the scene.

Unbelieving one received the message from the record company that the first printing was completely sold out only one week after having been released. At that time the band hadn't even started to work on "Collapse" (LINK), an EP-CD to follow the first one up and to go on the first independent tour through Germany. For this ISC spontaniously worked up the song "Dementia", which originated from the starting time of the band and was released as a tour-edition on 7inch vinyl then.

Just before that, first offers from America concerning a licence-deal had been submitted, of which Metropolis Records obtained the contract in the end. This way the material was also made available for an enthusiastic public over there. "Face The Fear" (LINK) was the name of the second regular album that placed ISC finally at the spearhead of the European electro-wave scene in 1998. Songs like "Industrial Love", "Hidden Thoughts" or "Alles In Mir" established themselves firmly in the club scene and one followed up with a limited double-cd with remixes of "Industrial Love" and "Prediction", for which bands like "X marks the pedwalk", "VNV Nation" or "Melotron" could be found.

Meanwhile the "friendship" to the record company was destroyed over disregarded payment agreements, until both parties - with the help of energetic laywers - went separate ways in 1999.

Still during the same year ISC performed their first overseas concerts, in the USA, together with the band "Das Ich", with whom one was friends for already quite a while - and was exposed to a real adventure for four weeks.

A new millennium was dawning and the band changed over to the freshly founded label Bloodline. The course continued with the pre-released single "Kiss Your Shadow" in January 2001, followed by the third album "Love Kills!", which placed ISC on the number-one-position in the Deutsche-Alternative-Charts (DAC) for the first time. It even became the most successful album in the years' review right behind "The Cure". Also the second released single "Zauberschloss" stood it's ground at the peak-position for many weeks.

The accompanying tour through Germany in September 2000 left an unforgetalble and beautiful impression, how successful and harmonic an independent tour can be.

Since 2001 one of the founding fathers, Stefan Vesper, has rejoined the team and has started contributing creative elements to the songwriting for future productions and has begun to provide new accents as a drummer during the live-presence.

MESH release their new album "A Perfect Solution"

After a three year absence, Bristol’s hottest underground export in heartwrenching electronic pop is back. MESH, the duo of Mark Hockings and Rich Silverthorn, return with „A Perfect Solution“, possibly the most mature, mutable and yet toughest album of their career. While no one doubts Mark Hocking’s status as an exceptional vocalist, a complete listen to this album also serves to highlight the band’s songwriting and arrangement skills. Once pegged as a purely retro synth act, MESH have mutated into a true live band, and the resulting versatility in the arrangements transforms what might have merely been 11 good songs into outstanding ones.

Thematically, „A Perfect Solution“ is a bit darker than previous releases. The tone of the album is typified by „If We Stay Here“, a tale of broken relationships between people who once loved each other but who now just exist in the same space. The massive housing facade pictured on the cover further symbolizes the painful dramas which take place behind its windows.
The wires running throughout the artwork are both safety lines and shackles – anything but „A Perfect Solution“. Were the album musically as dismal andhopeless as it is lyrically, „A Perfect Solution“ might be too much to handle, but luckily MESH know how to strike the delicate balance between „bitter“ and „sweet“.

Alongside the regular jewelcase CD edition (mind 140) the album will also be available as strictly limited collectors box set incl. the album, 7“-single, poster and a special size 48-page booklet (mind 141).

ROTERSAND release new album "Random is resistance"

Ever since their debut, ‘Truth is Fanatic’, exploded like a bomb, it has been impossible to imagine the clubs and the alternative charts without ROTERSAND.

Also with their new album, ‘Random is Resistance’, they have once again succeeded in performing the balancing act between club-friendly music and a total work of art.

They mix chilled-out electrobeats with shimmering futurepop sequences. Trancelike sounds with atmospheric samples. Clear-cut melodies with warm and charismatic vocals. Subdued new wave with classical strings. Nor do they shy away from acoustic guitars and pop hooklines, creating a unique universe that pulls together all strands of electronic music and which remains masterfully emotional and above all, intelligent.

‘Random is Resistance’ is the most perfect work to date from ROTERSAND’s unique creative musical forge. Adroitly fluctuating between driving rhythms and subdued beauty, an album which combines pop and club sounds, fragile melodies, cool electropop, fascinating arrangements and a unique artistic vision has come into being.

Without doubt, in the world of electronic music, ROTERSAND once more claim their special position, above all because the intelligence of their lyrical message is mirrored in the skilfully employed variation of their music. Individualists who dance their way out of the grid, achieving musical resistance to the well-worn pigeonholes.

‘Coincidence’ is an unpredictable factor. To remain unpredictable was not only ever just an integral part of ROTERSAND’s music. To remain unpredictable in a world in which we are (voluntarily) monitored and in which we relinquish all of our data and personal preferences in order to become the perfect controllable consumers is resistance!

Random is Resistance’ will, like its predecessors, implant itself into various charts, the dancefloors of the clubs and in the brains of the listeners.

The first edition of ‘Random Is Resistance’ is released as a lavish 8-panelled digipak with an extensive booklet full of sombre illustrations which perfectly sets the visual scene for the story and which can be described without over-exaggeration as a work of art.

A collectors’ piece which no fan of ROTERSAND should be without!

FUTURE TRAIL break new ground

Future Trail are going on to breakthrough with their smashing new album "Breaking New Ground".

09. of october 2009 they will release the follow-up to their debut "Big Sky Horizon" from 2004. Risen from members of davaNtage and the Rupal Records Team Future Trail again is sending out a strong signal into the hearts of electro-community! If you remember the female voice of Wynardtages "The Grey Line" be prepared to get offered the vocals of Mel combined with the one of legendary Dirk Ivens (Klinik, Dive, Sonar) in the hypnotic duett of "Landslide" as one of the highlights in "Breaking New Ground".
Another highlight is the soft pushing ballad named "Players", where you can take a relaxation from the sonic waste of hellectro. Here and in titles like the magic "One Time Focussed" or the very romantic "Patience" the special depth of Future Trail's compositions shine through.
And test the very ambitious "Monochrome Affair", which offers a tension between aural caresses and subtle melancholie.
The new album will feature soft & atmospheric electro songs one the one hand but it will also touch the groovy kind of EBM in songs like "Panic" feat. the vocals of Dirk Steyer from Accessory.

So don't miss this production which will be distributed via E-Noxe Records and the Rupal Records Online Shop.

Biography:
The first demos were created by René, who had been working for years in making music as a private hobby. In 2001 he became the third davaNtage member. At the same time Gunnar and Mario had a lot of lyrics, that couldn't stand in a context to the davaNtage sound.
Furthermore there was the idea of female vocals and with the joining of Mel, Future Trail was born. Mel had given her voice to the dNt-cover songs "Cold" on the davaNtage E.P. "Virus Hate" and "God Told Me To" on the "Störsequenz" Sampler before. After 3 years "planning, mixing, changing" the debut release "Big Sky Horizon" was on the way for release on may the 17th in 2004.
With 12 songs it consists the best of nearly 20 tracks, that had been emerged from René's remarkable work. As shown in the cd-title "Big Sky Horizon" Future Trail is more dedicated to the personal and emotional side of the band members.

2009 …and the time is right for breaking new ground….
