Since 1998, Oil 10 has produced pure electronic tracks in which powerful, elegant, and analogical sounds mix-up. Gilles Rossire shows that research doesn't always mean icy hermetism and achieves a terrific fusion between ambient and techno. His approach can be explained by the diversity of his influences: LFO, Pan sonic, FSOL, Autechre, Dead Can Dance, essential first albums of Kraftwerk or Tangerine Dream, the 80s electro pop scene (OMD, Freur, Fad Gadget, Ultravox, Depeche Mode...) and recent electronic wave (Fisherspooner, IAMX, Vitalic, The Hacker, Ladytron and so on).
Since he has been a technician in the movie industry for many years, cinema and especially music for films also had a strong influence on him (Forbidden Planet, Edward Artemeyev, John Carpenter, Vangelis, John Williams, Hayao Miyazaki and many more).
"Retrofuture" contains some of the most interesting tracks of all previous releases including the album "In/Out", which was already sold out a long time ago. But Gilles Rossire aka OIL 10 has not only compiled just an ordinary Best-Of. All tracks were remastered and remixed and two new tracks were added - "Retrofuture" comes up like a completely new and independent album. So just be enchanted by pulsating sounds and get into the world of intelligent electronic music - be part of OIL 10's fascinating vision.

Even more than in their first album the band releases a minimalistic and punctual performance with their new throw- out „Baby Teeth“. Surely their new sound reminds of the The Cure classic „Faith“ – but which other Gothic band has ever consequently continued where Robert Smith & Co stopped decades ago? The ethereal, traumatic beauty of the melodies in songs like „Plain Faced Afternoons“, the great atmosphere and the flowing and yet compact and homogeneous character of the songs create a complex picture, which can stand all comparisons.

Since 1999 a steadily growing fan base has accompanied HEAVY-CURRENT's transition over four studio albums and through worlds of music that appeal to fans of several genres. Although the origins were mainly electronic, you could already feel by the use of sounds a great longing for experimental, especially rock elements. Since 2004 the teamwork with Nook and Felix made HEAVY-CURRENT a determined and creative band, which first with EDACIOUS and now with PUSH THE FIRE will “burn itself” into your auditory canals.

Established in 2003, their unconventional mix of sinister electro, hip-hop and their hedonistic attitude towards sex, drugs and nightlife as its clear centre of discussion have already attracted a considerable fan community - not least of all as a result of their interactive live-shows which are also called up in the thousands on youtube.

Founded in Atlanta, USA, the band has progressed from being merely an inside tip to veritable greatness. Of course, the group finds direction from the successful Gothic bands of the early 1980s, however, any parallels commonly applied to the normal suspects such as Bauhaus or Virgin Prunes do not really do justice to the band. The superficially distressing, awkward and extremely complex songs contained in their debut album "Gender" initially hamper a submersion in Entertainment's multi-layered cosmos as, despite their name, the quartets' sounds far exceed the status of pure entertainment.
