The album „Walk Amongst the Living“ by established band Blue October was released in November 2008.
This new album follows a successful history of albums and singles by the band, spanning over the last decade. Featuring 13 songs, including the hit single ‘Let me see’.
Hosting a variety of music genres „Walk Amongst the Living“ engages the listener in many aspects of life and love, as they follow a soul searching journey.

Blue October’s unique approach continues in this much anticipated fourth album with each track fuelled with memories, dreams, hopes and regrets, offering the listener emotional and meaningful lyrics and each track brimming with passion, angst and sadness.
Blue October featuring Glen Wisbey, Ross Carter, Chris Taubert and Nic Johnston have worked on this album from late October 2005 to late October 2007, producer Steve Travell has helped develop and expanded the bands sound.

Blue October play emotionally fuelled, synth electro pop. Fusing electronic wizardry and wild guitar with cool, underlying dance grooves. A diverse repertoire of songs charged with melody, harmony and rhythm. Deep, meaningful lyrics tinged with sadness, but always full of hope. Songwriting of the highest quality stands out like a warning beacon in the roughest of oceans.
Signed to A Different Drum ( USA ) and Cryonica ( UK ). Three full length albums under their belt and inclusions on several compilations have attracted fans from every corner of the globe who have fallen in love with their unique style of incandescent, constantly evolving, dream pop. Contrasting sonics and dynamics, galvanised with tunes from heaven produce a live set riddled with edge and aggression. Nic Johnston superbly flushes out every ounce of angst with his cutting, precision guitar work.

1997 - Sign 1 album deal with A Different Drum(ADD), Utah, USA
1997 - Release debut Single Incoming
1998 - Release debut album Incoming
1998 - Barney Miller passes away.
1999 - Release 2nd single Believe
2000 - Work with Ross Carter on track for ADD compilation
2000 - Continue to work with Ross on tracks that would form the basis of the 3rd Single Stranded and 2nd Album Preaching lies to the Righteous
2000 - Release 3rd single Stranded
2001 - Release 2nd album Preaching lies to the Righteous
2002 - Release 3rd single Mistakes (This single included first Blue October tracks co-written with Chris)
2003 - Work on tracks for new album. Chris joins the band full-time, although Chris has been involved in production for the band since 1997
2004 - Release 4th single Free, remix from this track appears on XBOX 360 - Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 4.
2005 - Release 3rd album One day silver, One day gold.
2006 - Nic Johnston joins the band full-time.
2006 - Work on tracks for 4th album
2007 - Record more tracks and start recording of new album. Release 5th single Let Me See from Walk Amongst the Living
2008 - Release Walk Amongst the Living
